For the second season of HBO Max's hit series The Flight Attendant, I worked with MKG to create The Preflight Lounge: a Palm Springs oasis at the Ace Hotel, which served as a refuge from the Coachella music festival – a place where guests could relax and recharge, ready to come back strong for the next day of music and parties.
We built out an immersive experience, filled with mid-century modern design details and easter eggs from the show, that brought to life themes from Season 2 like wellness, mental health, and sobriety. By creating a fun, relaxing space, we were able to excite guests about the upcoming Season 2 premiere, while also giving them a well-deserved festival break.
