Thrillist and GE partnered for a lesson in heat by creating a hot sauce made from the two hottest peppers in the world: the Carolina Reaper and the Moruga Scorpion.

Named 1032 K (also known as Absolute Hot, the highest attainable temperature of matter), the sauce's bottle is contained in a silicone carbine tube – a material that GE uses in their jet engines to withstand ultra-high temperatures. We worked with GE heat scientists to ensure the graphics on the packaging (such as the Planck curves on the bottle) and its accompanying promotional materials were scientifically sound.
